Mother’s Day and Baby Dedications 2024

This Sunday will be a break from our Glory series as we set aside Mother’s Day for some baby dedications.

Dedicating a child to the Lord is so much more than hoping the baby “grows up right.” It’s a commitment from the family, from the marriage, and from the church community in which that child will be raised in and around. A scary verse for a church to read is from Judges 2:10. “There arose a generation that did not know the Lord and did not remember all the Lord did for Israel.”

We, as a church, cannot neglect this duty. We, as a church, can do tangible things to partner with these young families that are dedicating themselves to raise up their children in the Lord!
