Philippians

Without a blueprint you can find yourself getting into trouble real fast when you’re building. Doubly so if you’ve got a couple people trying to direct the job site.

Somebody might want a bigger garage, or a front porch instead of a back porch, and even if you’ve got some agreement on the what, the how and why you build it are just as tough. You need a blueprint to build anything that will last.

Paul’s letter to the church in Philippi is centered around the idea of Jesus as our blueprint. That we have been given instructions on what it means to be humans in right relationship with God, because Jesus lived it out for us. Every day we’re building out our lives into something, following one blueprint or another, and Paul’s encouragement to the church is to build something that will last.

Join us this week as we look at the book of Philippians and consider how we’re building out our lives, day by day.
