Exodus 34:6, Jonah 1:1
At Believers Fellowship, we believe that we should be teaching a healthy diet from the Bible. We have been in the Gospel of John, and because it’s such a long book we occasionally take breaks. Well, we are taking another break, and will pick back up next year to take us through to Easter.
Up next, we will be taking on the small book of Jonah to lead us into Christmas. Why Jonah at Christmas? As we study this book together we will see God’s continued compassion and patience played out for individuals, as well as whole cities. “For God so loved the world” is not just a New Testament idea…it’s a theme that we see throughout the entire Bible.
This week we introduce you to Jonah. How to approach reading our Bible and understanding genre. We look at themes throughout the book. We seek to understand what a prophet is, and we see God display the hope for the world through His compassion.
See you Sunday!
Service times are at 9:00 & 11:00. If you can’t make it in person, you can watch live at those times.
