Glory – Acts 2
We continue to look at that how the early Christians lived in a post-Jesus-resurrection society. This week we turn the page from Acts 1 to Act 2 (and beyond!)
In Acts chapter two, we see an amazing fulfillment of God’s promise. Pentecost is the Jewish Festival of Weeks. This is where the Jews celebrated God giving the Law to the Israelite’s five (penta) weeks after Passover. There is significance here in Act 2! The early Christians were obediently waiting when the Holy Spirit filled them! Where God gave the written law…he is now writing the law on our hearts through the Holy Spirit.
Life in the Spirit looked different for the early church. This week we will identify some differences in Peter before Jesus’ resurrection and after Pentecost. See you Sunday!
Service times are at 9:00 & 11:00. If you can’t make it in person, you can watch live at those times.
