Sunday, June 19: Baptism
Galatians 2:20
A wonderful part about being a disciple of Jesus is seeing God at work in the lives of other Christians. The elements of your life that seem mundane, or everyday to you, may be just the encouragement or challenge that I need.
Whatever the path that brought you to Jesus, every Christian has a common declaration of faith, summed up well in Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Our sermon this Sunday is going to be about the same length, but the content is going to mostly be the testimony of what God has done in the lives of the people of Believers Fellowship.
In baptisms, we’ll both see and hear the declaration that Jesus died, and was raised from the dead, and because of that you and I can have new life.
Join us this Sunday as members of our congregation publicly demonstrate the inward change that Jesus has accomplished in their lives. See you Sunday!
Service times are at 9:30 & 11:00. If you can’t make it in person, you can watch live at those times.
