From May 31–July 12, we will be raising money to support moms in crisis pregnancies. The beneficiaries of this drive will be two of our long-time partners: Care Net of Puget Sound and 4US. AND, due to a generous matching-funds donation, 100% of your donation will be matched.
Due to COVID-19 complications, Care Net of Puget Sound is not doing a traditional baby bottle drive this year. However, WE are! If you (or your children) would like to fill a baby bottle with change and bring it to the church, we will get the money to Care Net. Baby bottles will be distributed at the Popsicle Palooza on Thursday. If you have kids, please come by and get a popsicle and a baby bottle!
You can also donate electronically through our website or mobile app. Just designate your gift “4US/Care Net.”
Care Net of Puget Sound is a faith-based center that provides care, education, support, and life-affirming resources regarding pregnancy. They help families in crisis pregnancies with medical services, counseling, prenatal classes and parenting support. You can find out more at https://carenetps.org/
4US raises money to purchase ultrasound machines for centers like Care Net. Over 90% of women who see an ultrasound of their baby choose life. Unfortunately, these machines are expensive, and so not every crisis pregnancy center has one. 4US raises money for equipment and training so that more centers can take advantage of this valuable resource. You can find out more at https://4us.org/adopt-a-center/.
Here is a fantastic testimonial from Care Net of Puget Sound about the importance of their work (and the power of ultrasound).
