Joshua 2, 5 and 6

What’s the most famous story in the old testament book of Joshua? If you said anything but the walls of Jericho, you would be wrong! Within the story of Jericho in Joshua chapters 2, 5, and 6 we see a lot of situations that make us raise our eyebrows and say ‘huh?’ Situations that involve prostitutes, total destruction, Christophanies, unheard of battle plans, marching bands, and fortified cities falling down. There is so much to unpack this Sunday, but this weekend we look beyond the walls tumbling down, into a story of faith, obedience, redemption, and courage.
